The State of Jefferson movement in Northern California is gaining momentum again as the Siskiyou County Supervisors voted for encouraging the secession from the State and California and creating a new state, Jefferson.
Modoc County Supervisors quickly joined a few weeks later, voting unanimously to encourage the secession from California.
A separate, uncovered, process has been the creation of the Republic Jefferson Territory in Siskiyou County, according to the video news report released today from dWebServe Editor and Publisher Daniel Webster.
“The State of Jefferson movement is seeking to secede from California and create the 51st state,” said Webster, regarding the State of Jefferson news video. “The other is creating a new government entity called Jefferson Territory which encompasses the entire geographic region of Siskiyou County.”
