Calif. driver gets ticket for wearing Google Glass

A California woman pulled over for allegedly speeding was cited for wearing Google Glass behind the wheel.

Cecelia Abadie of Temecula, Calif., posted the ticket to her Google+ page with the caption "A cop just stopped me and gave me a ticket for wearing Google Glass while driving!" Her post has received over 500 comments.

Abadie adds she was cited in San Diego for "driving with monitor visible to driver." The California Highway Patrol confirmed to The Los Angeles Times that the citation was issued for violating California Vehicle Code 27602 . . .

Toronto Police have recovered the video that appears to show Mayor Rob For smoking crack cocaine, Toronto police Chief Bill Blair said Thursday.

"The video files depict images that are consistent with what has previously been reported" in the media, Blair said at a news conference on the heels of a release of documents used by police to obtain search warrants during their summer investigation.

Google's Nexus 5 Is Bigger — But Is It Better?

Google announced its latest phone today, the new Nexus 5, developed in conjunction with LG. The 4.95-inch smartphone, which is available today for $349 (16GB) or $399 (32GB) unlocked, also ships with the just-launched Android 4.4 KitKat .

The Nexus 5 is certainly bigger than the 4 . . . but is it better?
